Get Some Medical Insurance For When Your Warranty Is Up

Would you believe some people never go to the doctor?  Some don't even have a doctor.  This is not necessarily a bad thing.  Hospitals and doctors offices are not good places to be.  To begin with they are full of sick people with germs.  Does this mean that medical insurance is unnecessary?  No.

If you do not have a flat don't change the tire.  But keep a spare in the trunk just in case of an emergency.  If you do not need a doctor, don't go.    But have a good medical insurance policy - "just in case of an emergency."

Ever see a car that never needed any maintenance?  Neither have I.  Ever see a person that never needed a check up?  Neither have I.  But I have seen both cars that have went too long without mechanical care, and blow an engine, and I have seen people go to long with medical attention, and suffer the consequences.

Often the problem with both was money.  The car was not under warrantee and it didn't get fixed and the person had no medical insurance and the problem didn't get detected.  If you don't take care of a car you can replace it, but it's not as easy to replace yourself.

It makes a whole lot more sense to protect ourselves with medical insurance – and still stay away from where the sick folks go, unless necessary.  It would be nice to live to a ripe old age and sometimes periodic checkups can help.  Things like a mammogram or a colonoscopy, even a skin check can show up something in time to do something about it. Medical insurance can sometimes keep us on track in this area.
